There was once a great scientist. He spent most of his time in his laboratory. And after a lot of trials, experiment and try outs, he finally developed a formula and learned the art of reproducing himself.
He did it so perfectly that it was merely impossible to differentiate between the copied and the original one.
One day while doing his research, he realised that the Angel of Death was looking for him. Of course, he was terrified and in order to remain alive he produced a dozen copies of himself, exactly like him.
When the Angel of Death came down, he was at a loss to know which of the thirteen before him was the original scientist, and confused, he left them and returned to the heaven.
But not for long, being expert in the human nature, the Angel came out with an idea.
He said to the scientists, addressing all 13 of them.
Angel of Death exclaimed, "You must be a genius to have succeeded in making such perfect reproduction formula of yourself. However, I have discovered a flaw in your work. Just ONE, TINY FLAW."
The original scientist immediately jumped and shouted, "Impossible !!! Where is the flaw??"
"Right here." Replied the Angel of Death as he picked the original scientist among the 13 of them and carried him off.
The whole purpose of the scientist and his formula of reproducing failed as he could not control his PRIDE, so he lost his life.
So when a man's Knowledge and Skills take him to the top of the ladder and make him successful, the three letters word, EGO can pull him down to earth immediately at double speed.
Don't let your Ego Kill you, but instead Kill your Ego.

How's Your Ramadhan? FORGIVE AND FORGET
Did you
have a fight with one of your relative and you didn’t speak with them since
that?
Did someone
hurt you and you can’t forget what they did?
Did you
hurt someone and you didn’t say sorry yet?
Don’t you
talk to a friend because of a misunderstanding between you both?
If yes,
then now it is your chance to correct this situation in this holy month
Ramadhan.
It doesn’t
matter whether you are right or wrong.
It doesn’t
matter if you started that fight or not.
Just do it!
Be the first one who forgive and purify the heart.
Be the one
who hastens to forgive people.
Prophet
Muhammad s.a.w said, “It is not lawful for a man to desert his brother muslim
(and not talk to him) for more than three nights. (It is unlawful for them
that) when they meet, one of them turns his face away from the other, and the
other turns his face from the former, and the better of the two will be the one
who greets the other first.” [Bukhari: Book #73, Hadith #100]
And most of
all, don’t delay it… forgive and forget in this holy month of Ramadhan because
we never know whether our deeds in Ramadhan will not be acceptable because of
our grudge against someone we know.
You must
know that the deeds of two people who have grudge against one another are not
raised to Allah in regular days so what about Ramadhan ?! T_T”
Just turn
the page right now and have a fresh start with everyone you know, forgive
everyone with no exception.
Have your
Ramadhan with a forgiving pure heart. InsyaAllah…

Take A Risk In Your Life
The first seed said, "I want to grow! I want to send my roots deep into the soil beneath me, and thrust my sprouts through the earth's crust above me ... I want to unfurl my tender buds like banners to announce the arrival of spring ... I want to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the blessing of the morning dew on my petals!"
And so the seed grew...
The second seed said, "I am afraid. If I send my roots into the ground below, I don't know what I will encounter in the dark. If I push my way through the hard soil above me I may damage my delicate sprouts ... what if I let my buds open and a snail tries to eat them? And if I were to open my blossoms, a small child may pull me from the ground. No, it is much better for me to wait until it is safe."
And so the other seed waited...
A yard hen scratching around in the early spring ground for food found the waiting seed and promptly ate it.

True Friend
Horror gripped the heart of the World War I soldier as he saw his lifelong friend fall in battle. Caught in a trench with continuous gunfire whizzing over his head, the soldier asked his Captain if he might go out into the “no man’s land” between the trenches to bring his fallen comrade back.
“You can go,” said the Captain, “but i don’t think it will be worth it. Your friend is probably dead and you may throw your life away.” The Captain’s advice didn’t matter, and the soldier went anyway.
Miraculously he managed to reach his friend, hoist him onto his shoulder and bring him back to their company’s trench. As the two of them tumbled in together to the bottom of the trench, the officer checked the wounded soldier, and then looked kindly at his friend.
“I told you it wouldn’t be worth it,” he said. “Your friend is dead and you are mortally wounded.”
“It was worth it, though, sir,” said the soldier.
“What do you mean; worth it?” responded the Captain. “Your friend is dead.”
“Yes, Sir” the private answered. “But it was worth it because when I got to him, he was still alive and I had the satisfaction of hearing him saying, “Rei… I knew you’d come.”
Many times in life, whether a thing is worth doing or not, really depends on how u looks at it. Take up all your courage and do something your heart tells you to do so that you may not regret not doing it later in your life.
May each and every one of you be blessed with the company of TRUE FRIENDS. A true friend is one who walks in, when the rest of the world walks out. War doesn’t determine who’s right. War only determines who’s left.

Dad...
Father was a hardworking man who delivered bread as a living to support his wife and three children. He spent all his evenings after work attending classes, hoping to improve himself so that he could one day find a better paying job.
Except for Sundays, Father hardly ate a meal together with his family. He worked and studied very hard because he wanted to provide his family with the best money could buy.
Whenever the family complained that he was not spending enough time with them, he reasoned that he was doing all this for them. But he often yearned to spend more time with his family.
The day came when the examination results were announced. To his joy, Father passed, and with distinctions too! Soon after, he was offered a good job as a senior supervisor which paid handsomely.
Like a dream come true, Father could now afford to provide his family with life’s little luxuries like nice clothing, fine food and vacation abroad.
However, the family still did not get to see father for most of the week. He continued to work very hard, hoping to be promoted to the position of manager. In fact, to make himself a worthily candidate for the promotion, he enrolled for another course in the open university.
Again, whenever the family complained that he was not spending enough time with them, he reasoned that he was doing all this for them. But he often yearned to spend more time with his family.
Father’s hard work paid off and he was promoted. Jubilantly, he decided to hire a maid to relieve his wife from her domestic tasks. He also felt that their three-room flat was no longer big enough, it would be nice for his family to be able to enjoy the facilities and comfort of a condominium.
Having experienced the rewards of his hard work many times before, Father resolved to further his studies and work at being promoted again. The family still did not get to see much of him. In fact, sometimes Father had to work on Sundays entertaining clients.
Again, whenever the family complained that he was not spending enough time with them, he reasoned that he was doing all this for them. But he often yearned to spend more time with his family.
As expected, Father’s hard work paid off again and he bought a beautiful condominium overlooking the coast of Singapore. On the first Sunday evening at their new home, Father declared to his family that he decided not to take anymore courses or pursue any more promotions. From then on he was going to devote more time to his family.
